Personal Training

 

To begin with you will receive a consultation to map your goals. We will conduct an in-depth health assessment of your body composition. Records of important health indicators will be tracked including: metabolic rate, hydration, bone density, subcutaneuos fat and visceral fat (intra- abdominal fat) percentages, blood pressure and lung capacity. The significance of the results will be explained and can be emailed to you. This point of reference will help us quantify the progress you have made at your next review.

 

All clients are treated as individuals, I do not subscribe to a one exercise size fits all approach to health and fitness. You will be encouraged to give regular feedback. Communication between yourself and I is considered key to us maximising each session and you achieving great results in the shortest time possible.

 

We will work closely together to help you establish positive habits and figure out exactly what works well for you.

 

To assure your goal achievement I will advise you with regards to nutrition and I will help you identify and moderate habits which may obstruct you from safely achieving maximum results in minimum time.

Martial arts, similar to what you will learn from self defence plus the intricacy and etiquette of the martial way, the way of the warrior. Martial artists pursue and value skill so we are in it for the long term! What sets us apart is the level of our understanding of the the spirit mind and body. 

 

Some techniques you will learn have derived from various traditional martial arts such as Ju-jitsu, Kempo, Karate, Kali Eskrima and Muay Thai, with the selection criteria being practicality, ease of use and effectiveness, while other techniques are new and suited for the times we live in today.

Bad posture can be directly related to the cause of accidents, injuries, unexplained pain and illness,  and if not corrected will worsen over time. 

I will analyse your posture, visually and with the aid of a digital applications, first statically and then dynamically while you perform simple movement patterns. I will formulate an exercise program based on my findings and our consultation.

We will use segmental muscle mass analysis of each arm and leg to help us track the effectiveness of your training programme. Proper body alignment will help you to avoid future injuries that occur as a result of a muscle imbalance.

Training Packages

 

Packages are based on training for 1-hour twice a week

 Massive saving on PT Packages. The More You Commit The More Money You Save!  

 ( Increased training frequency will lead to quicker results ).

 

Recommended Personal Training Packages

 1. Commitment Level 1. The Journey Begins: 6-week programme.

 

 At the end of six weeks you will have a good understanding of what is required to set and achieve goals. You will feel more in touch with your body and you would have built a good working relationship with your personal trainer. 6-week is the typical time that physical and psychological adaptations become noticeable to the trainee.

 

6 x 2 = 12 Sessions 

   2. Commitment Level 2. Recognition - Seeing the Difference: 12-week programme.

 

Take a look in the mirror and you will see for yourself once you have completed this package. Friends will tell you, family will congratulate you, work colleagues will look up to you and total strangers may compliment you. With the aid of before and after photos your physical changes will be felt and clear for all to see. (Plus all of the above). 12-weeks is the typical time that the changes made in the first 6-weeks become compounded and recognised as being new.

 

12 x 2 = 24 Sessions 

   3.Commitment Level 3. Long-term: 18-week programme. 

 

After completing this programme you will be on another level. You will have created solid reference points in both mind (positive habits) and body (muscle memory) that are likely to stay with you for many years. You will have gained a good understanding of nutrition, movement patterns, a strong core, increased flexibility and the ability to activate various muscle groups at will. (Plus all of the above). 18-weeks is the typical time needed for new habits to be formed where the adaptations made become a good platform from which skill can be developed.

 

18 x 2 = 36 Session
